One of our core company values is people matter, and that extends beyond our staff and clients to include the greater community. One of the organisations we’ve supported is the Khayelitsha Christian Academy, an informal, community run care centre which looks after the pre-school needs of Mandela Park children in Khayelitsha, who are unable to afford state education.
Giving back to the community has become a part of our company culture and to further support our community initiatives we started a CSR committee. The committee consists of staff who are passionate about supporting the community around us and will continue to organise our corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Previous initiatives have seen us host a Street Store in Cape Town, providing hundreds of homeless people with clothes, and organising donation drives for animal shelters and a donation drive for NOAH – a Woodstock based NGO providing care to the elderly.
